Abstract:
This seminar discusses individual and team problem solving in IT profession, with the main focus on business / IT alignment. In the process, the participants will develop awareness of their own problem-solving abilities and they will gain practical skills in problem understanding, methods of systematic and creative exploration and selection of solutions, ways of packaging, sharing and dissemination of quality problem solutions, and finally developing strategies for problem solving. The presentation will utilize sword fighting as a metaphor for explaining some of the core topics and to immerse the participants in an unfamiliar problem area and its activities.
